From the above drawing, you can observe that the roofing sheet cover width is 12 ft. & we have calculated 4 nos. of roofing sheet of 12 ft. length.

Let us take 3 nos. of rectangular steel sections of dimension 70mm × 40mm.× 3mm. having 12 ft. in length, to support the roofing sheets as shown in the above drawing.

The total length of the rectangular section

= 12 ft. × 3 nos.

= 36 ft.

The weight of the rectangular steel section

= 1.493kg / ft. × 36 ft.

= 53.748 kg.

Let us fix the RCC door of size 6.5 ft × 2.5 ft  - 1no.

                    RCC window of size 3 ft × 3.5 ft  - 1 no. ( as shown in the drawing).
